The Christian Agency for Israel is committed to connecting Christians and Jews of different traditions and convictions to work towards bringing a biblical understanding of Israel, the Jewish homeland, to the world. CAFI connects Christian communities to Jewish communities, through love, respect, and to help support Aliyah and absorption into the Jewish homeland, and humanitarian aid.
These Jewish communities are both within and without Israel. In particular, millions of exiled Jews remain scattered throughout the nations, longing for a homecoming to Israel but with limited resources, agency, or geopolitical access to achieve this. The Christian Agency for Israel endeavors to work together with Israelis to relieve present suffering through humanitarian volunteer work, and offer support to make Aliyah.
There are Christian organizations that support Israel, and there are Jewish organizations that support Israel, but CAFI at its very core is Christians and Jews working together for Israel.
As the world stood in awe of the reestablishment of the state of Israel in 1948, there has been a commensurate reawakening amongst Christian believers of the biblical destiny of Israel, and urgency for her preservation and salvation. This prophetic understanding that the nations must support Israel expresses itself in an obvious need for Christians and Jews to labor together. It is these very impulses to take steps towards reconciliation and friendship that CAFI is committed to.
The Christian Agency for Israel (CAFI), was born out of a friendship with Jewish leaders, both religious and secular. These indomitable champions for an independent Israeli state and the preservation of the Jewish people, see a day when great strides for the good of Israel are taken together.
CAFI aims to connect the Christian church back to her Jewish roots and engage the church to help build the Jewish homeland.
